The harvest in Kakheti is coming to an end. At this time, Mildiani Wine Company has received all the leading and popular varieties of Kakhetian grapes. Most of the obtained grapes are of the white varieties; among the large amount of obtained white grapes. Rkatsiteli has the largest share. Then comes Kakhetian green, kisi and khikhvi. Among obtained red grape varieties, there are Saperavi and Cabernet Sauvignon.
It should be mentioned that the winery also received certified organic grapes this year and poured them into pitchers according to the Georgian traditional rule.
Most wines produced are made in the classic way, in stainless steel tanks. Also, Georgian traditional clay Qvevri are filled in the traditional Kakhetian cellar.
Now it is turn for the harvest in the western part of Georgia. Soon Alexandrouli, Mujuretuli and Tsolikauri from Racha-Lechkhumi, Khvanchkara and Tvishi microzones will be added to the list of new wines.
